Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding medical terminology and office procedures to callers.
- Utilize computer systems for data entry and record-keeping.
- Analyze patient needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette during all interactions.
- Assist in the management of patient records and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to improve patient satisfaction.
- Support multilingual customers by providing assistance in their preferred language when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical office call center representative is REQUIRED.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patients.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with call center software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to analyze information effectively and make sound decisions based on patient needs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
