Urology Associates of Connecticut is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Medical Assistant (Float) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to travel between our office locations (Danbury, Norwalk, and New Milford) to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient visits and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
- Perform clinical duties including catheter care, specimen collection, and other procedures as directed.
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Float between office locations (Danbury, Norwalk, and New Milford) as needed to support staffing and patient care.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred; urology experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
