Interview patients to verify and update medical information.
Assist patients and caregivers with proper resources for treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians’ instructions.
Schedule appointments for patients.
Order labs and imaging tests for patients as directed by doctor.
Coordinate care with other offices and institutions.
Collect money and secure funds.
Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests and/or admission.
Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, taking dictation and completing insurance forms.
Order labs and imaging tests.
Perform all other duties necessary for a smooth and efficient office as directed by their supervisor.
