We are seeking an experienced tax professional to lead our global tax function, overseeing compliance, financial reporting, and tax strategy across our U.S. and Israel operations. This role reports to the Controller and will serve as the primary internal resource on domestic and international tax matters within a public company environment.Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree required; Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent) preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in biopharma strategy, portfolio strategy, new product planning, consulting, or related fields
- Experience supporting portfolio decision-making and/or corporate strategic planning
- Strong understanding of drug development, clinical strategy, and commercialization fundamentals
- Experience with valuation methodologies (e.g., rNPV) and scenario analysis
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed organization
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Enterprise Strategic Planning
- Lead the annual strategic planning process and development of the company’s long-range plan
- Translate portfolio insights into a cohesive enterprise strategy, including growth priorities and resource allocation
- Under theguidance of the SVP, Business Development, lead development of long-term strategic narratives for internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with Finance to ensure alignment between strategy, portfolio decisions, and financial planning
- Develop and maintain portfolio prioritization frameworks to guide investment across assets and indications and guide recommendations
- Conduct risk-adjusted value assessments (e.g., rNPV, scenario modeling) to inform decision-making
- Partner with Clinical and Regulatory teams to shape development strategies, including indication selection and sequencing
- Lead analyses to frame and key drive pipeline and strategic decisions, including scenario planning and trade-off assessments
- Synthesize complex cross-functional inputs into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Develop and prepare materials for Executive Team and Board-level discussions
- Collaborate closely with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Finance teams to support integrated decision-making
- Incorporate market insights, competitive dynamics, and patient considerations into early development decisions
- Foster alignment across functions in a matrixed environment
- Support development and execution of portfolio governance processes, including portfolio reviews and decision forums
- Ensure consistency, transparency, and rigor in portfolio-related analyses and recommendations
- Lifecycle & Pipeline Planning
- Support lifecycle strategy development, including indication expansion and sequencing
- Identify portfolio gaps and inform business development priorities
