Support Technician I

URM Stores, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced professional to join our team as our next amazing Support Technician I! As our Support Technician I, you will provide world-class first response to incidents and service requests; assist in problem identification; monitor issues from start to resolution and communicate various types of information with customers/users through appropriate channels; and provide technical troubleshooting and resolution of computers and computer applications, retail systems and applications, Citrix, and URM-specific and internally developed applications.

You will have direct contact with our customers and are expected to be proactive with the support of services and products. You will exceed customer expectations by performing extraordinary customer service, identifying their needs, and providing them with exceptional communication.

Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as first point of contact via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and access issues.
• Log and prioritize incidents and requests.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Assist with account access and password resets.
• Follow incident management procedures.
• Document tickets and resolutions.
• Provide strong customer service.
• Support desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Assist with device setup and imaging.
• Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues.
• Support printers and endpoint equipment.
• Maintain asset inventory.
• Escalate complex issues.
• Follow lifecycle procedures.
• Document support activities.

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• Preferred 1–3 years field or endpoint support experience.
• Basic knowledge of devices and operating systems.
• Familiarity with deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to support multiple locations.

• An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. Salary $23 - $27 hourly, Depending on experience plus so much more!
