Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and social skills
- Support early childhood education initiatives by engaging children in creative play, storytelling, and basic teaching exercises
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and other daily routines for young children
- Use behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or caregivers to share updates on children’s progress and address any concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers with patience and understanding of their unique needs
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and certifications to ensure safety during emergencies
- Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Demonstrated skills in caregiving roles that involve behavior management and nurturing support
