Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (occasional on-call as needed)

Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Medical Office Manager to run our UrgentCare2go office and staff. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, budgeting, and maintaining medical and staff records.
The ideal candidate has experience in urgent care, primary care, or family medicine, and is comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative workflows. You should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to perform well under pressure. Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, medical terminology, and compliance requirements is essential.
Ultimately, you will ensure steady workflows, smooth patient experiences, and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure efficient patient flow
- Monitor budget, billing processes, and payment tracking
- Order and track medical and office supplies
- Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures
- Supervise medical, clinical, and administrative staff
- Maintain accurate medical and staff records
- Support EHR accuracy, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication
- Liaise with providers and nurses to identify operational improvements
- Generate and maintain inventory records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations
- Provide guidance, training, and support to new and current staff
- Address patient concerns professionally and maintain a positive patient experience
- Maintain availability by phone for internal staff needs as required
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a medical office manager
- Clinical background preferred (MA, CNA, LPN, NRCMA, or similar)
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience (required)
- Knowledge of accounting, general administrative processes, and EHR systems
- Ability to handle medical records discreetly and securely
- Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well in stressful or fast-paced situations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Must pass a criminal background check
