UrgentCare2Go and IVTherapy2Go are looking for a Full-time Registered Nurse with excellent IV skills!
UrgentCare2go & IVTherapy2go is a new and unique way of providing health care services and IV therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for reliable Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for patients seeking urgent care and IV Therapy treatments. You will work under the supervision of a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties include administering IV Fluids to patients in their home or office environment while communicating with the on-call physician using telemedicine technology.
RN's must also have a competency for the following tasks:
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
- Perform point of care testing like flu, strep, covid, UA, Urine Pregnancy.
- Observe patients under treatment during IV fusion to identify progress, side effects of medications, etc.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse or similar role
- Actively performing IV sticks.
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and medical best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
