Urgent Veterinary Care of Santa Barbara is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our team!
We are a small, privately owned hospital that was remodeled 3 years ago with the latest equipment. We are Santa Barbara’s first and only veterinary urgent care. We will strive to create a family environment at UVC and are committed to furthering your education and career development.
Our ideal candidate would be a veterinarian with emergency experience comfortable seeing a range of cases from general practice type cases to emergency cases. Looking for an associate that would work 4 days a week however would be open to anything between 2 - 5 days per week. Days per week are flexible as the owner (other DVM) will be working the other days.
Pay is a sliding base per shift plus percentage production
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
- Perform minor surgical procedures (no major surgery expected)
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and training.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed in the state of California
- Veterinary emergency experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $450,000.00 per year
