The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our growing operations and turn the owners' vision into consistent, high-performance execution. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll own day-to-day operations across mitigation, reconstruction/renovation, asbestos abatement, and program work (e.g., Home Depot). This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive profitable growth, build strong systems and teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop direct reports, including Project Managers, Renovation Estimator/Manager, Remote Estimators, Administrative Supervisor, and Warehouse Coordinator (with indirect leadership over admins, project coordinators, lead technicians, and helpers).
- Run weekly operations reviews and coach teams for peak performance.
- Track and optimize job profitability, schedules, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Standardize estimating processes and coach remote estimators.
- Conduct regular site walks to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and annual reviews.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for priority clients and critical issues.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations leadership within restoration, construction, or related industries (mitigation/reconstruction experience strongly preferred).
- Strong track record of driving profitability, team development, and process improvement.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emergency-response environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites across Oahu.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience (paid weekly).
