HR Generalist

Build Great Teams. Drive Great Processes.

At Urgent Dental Center & Family Dentistry, our people are the foundation of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and execution.

This position is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle while ensuring Human Resources processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently. From recruiting exceptional talent to managing HR administration, maintaining employee records, and supporting operational initiatives, you'll play a vital role in helping our organization continue to grow.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just complete tasks—they own them. Someone who catches mistakes before they happen, follows established processes, communicates proactively, and keeps projects moving without sacrificing quality.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Operations

  • Support daily Human Resources operations across multiple office locations.

  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR documentation.

  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire paperwork while ensuring all required documentation is complete.

  • Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and employment records accurately.

  • Maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional support to team members and leaders.

  • Ensure HR processes are completed consistently and in accordance with company policies and employment regulations.

  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, projects, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, administrative, leadership, and support positions.

  • Assist with dentist recruitment by coordinating interviews, candidate communication, and hiring logistics.

  • Screen applicants, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring managers, and guide candidates through the hiring process.

  • Prepare accurate offer documentation and hiring paperwork.

  • Maintain recruiting pipelines and proactively identify qualified candidates for future openings.

HR Systems & Administration

  • Utilize UKG Ready for recruiting, communication, onboarding, employee records, and HR administration.

  • Support HR operations across multiple office locations, tax IDs, and EINs.

  • Maintain accurate employee data and ensure documentation is uploaded and completed in a timely manner.

  • Monitor HR workflows to ensure deadlines and required actions are not missed.

What We're Looking For

  • 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.

  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition.

  • Experience recruiting healthcare professionals is strongly preferred.

  • Experience assisting with physician or dentist recruitment is highly desirable.

  • Advanced working knowledge of UKG Ready is required.

  • Experience supporting multi-site organizations with multiple tax IDs and EINs.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment processes.

  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate is someone who:

  • Has exceptional attention to detail and produces consistently accurate work.

  • Double-checks work before it reaches candidates or team members.

  • Takes ownership of assignments and follows them through to completion.

  • Is highly organized and manages competing priorities without missing deadlines.

  • Learns established processes quickly and follows them consistently.

  • Communicates proactively with leadership and follows up without being prompted.

  • Works with urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Thinks ahead, identifies problems early, and brings solutions—not just issues.

  • Is dependable, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement.

  • Enjoys working in a collaborative environment where teamwork and reliability matter.
