Urgent Care of Mountain View is a independently owned urgent care center located in Mountain View, Hickory, NC, about ½ mile off Hwy 321 and Hwy 127 intersection. Open 7 days a week with extended hours, we provide prompt and thorough care. We set the standard for non-emergency medical needs requiring urgent treatment by offering the highest level of care with compassion and professionalism. Our services include treatment of most non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, workers’ compensation evaluations, and physical exams. We also offer on-site digital x-rays.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant located in Hickory, NC. The Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing digital x-rays, ensuring radiation safety, assisting with patient care, and managing medical records. Daily tasks include preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating radiology equipment, and collaborating with other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care. In this role Radiologic Technologist will also perform duties of a medical assistant such as patient triage, perform vitals signs, point-of-care testing, drug screens, and other occupational medicine services. The role also involves administrative duties such as updating patient records in the digital medical system.
Qualifications
- Radiologic Technology skills and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety practices and procedures
- Proficiency in Medicine and Radiology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in urgent care or emergency medical settings is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
