Physician Assistant -PAC
- This is a position for a graduate of a physician assistant program.
- We are looking for a practicing physician assistant to be a full time provider in a busy urgent care located in Astoria, Oregon.
- Our work days are usually 10 to 12 hours. It is common for providers to work 3 days in a row and then have 4 days off during the week.
- This position requires someone with self motivation, good organizational skills, excellent team work and an outstanding bedside manner.
- Our Urgent care typically sees from 16 to 35 urgent care patients per day in a rural setting
- The chief complaints are quite varied with numerous injuries and illness from both industrial and private settings.
- We see patients from 6 months old to 90 years old in our typical work day.
- Support staff is provided for Physician assistants and physician coverage is provided by our owner physician.
- Some of your days will be working in concert with the physician seeing urgent care patients of all varieties.
- Other days will have you working independently in an urgent care setting with phone contact coverage from the physician.
- Experienced providers are preferred, but depending on training we will consider other levels of expertise.
- We recognize that Astoria may not be a home base for many providers, so consideration of housing in Astoria is a part of our employment package.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
