Role Summary
The First Impression Specialist (FIS) creates a welcoming environment for patients and families while supporting smooth clinic operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, friendly, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients; collect insurance and payments
- Answer and route phone calls
- Provide snacks and a positive, family-friendly experience
- Maintain front desk and waiting area organization
- Support patients, families, and clinic staff as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- 1 year experience in front office, reception, or medical setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with electronic medical records (E Clinical Works a plus)
- Must be available for evenings and at least 2 weekends per month
Schedule
- Weekday Shifts: 8 hours
- Weekend Shifts: 10 hours
- Rotating schedule with every other weekend required
