Urgent Care EMS is a private non-emergency transportation company looking for dynamic and caring individuals. We provide non-emergency and emergency medical care to patients in the post-hospital environment in accordance with established medical protocols. We are now accepting applications for EMT's Basic, EMR, EMT-A and paramedic.
Overview:
We are seeking dedicated EMS (Emergency Medical Services) professionals to join our team. As an EMT provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering emergency medical care to individuals in need. We provide safe and effective care while transporting patients to their destination. Urgent Care EMS thrives on providing efficient transportation and excellent guest services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medical treatment
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their comfort and stability and adhering to local, state and federal guidelines
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to relay patient information
- Maintain accurate patient care records and documentation
- Keep abreast of medical protocols and best practices in emergency medical services
- Participate in life safety programs, community awareness programs, and other training or development programs as assigned
- Transport patients to and from dialysis, residences, hospitals or other healthcare facilities
- Provides pre-hospital emergency and non-emergent medical care at the EMR, EMT-Intermediate or Advanced practice level
- Maintain knowledge of Urgent Care EMS Protocols and all departmental policies and procedures
- Visually and manually checks assigned EMS vehicle and equipment for functional readiness upon reporting for duty and at the end of each shift.
- Demonstrates expertise in the use and application of all EMS related equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid GA certification as an Emergency Medical Technician EMR, EMT B, EMT A or Paramedic
- Proficient in performing emergency medical procedures and using medical equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent decision-making and critical thinking abilities
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients when necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
