As an urgent care, we do not have scheduled appointments — patient flow and acuity can change quickly, so flexibility and composure are essential.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Preparing exam rooms and rooming patients
-Taking vital signs, obtaining patient histories, and continuously updating the EMR
-Assisting providers with exams and procedures
-Administering injections, immunizations, and treatments as directed
-Performing CLIA-waived testing, EKGs, and venipuncture
-Operating X-ray equipment
-Responding to calls from patients, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers
