Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct appliance repair and installation across various settings, including commercial kitchens and refrigeration units.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment delivery as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot HVAC & appliance technology issues promptly, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with team members on construction projects or upgrades involving mechanical systems or infrastructure improvements.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) system documentation.
• Hands-on experience with appliance repair—including kitchen equipment—and HVAC system repair.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and air conditioning units essential for maintaining climate control environments.
• Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients during service calls or repairs.
• Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to ensure timely availability of parts and tools.
• Construction experience is a plus for handling upgrades or infrastructure modifications involving mechanical components.
• Ability to operate construction tools safely and efficiently; leadership qualities are valued for mentoring junior technicians.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
