What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Assembler position at URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie Group, Free People & Nuuly)?
Anthropologie Home is looking for a furniture assembler to work with the furniture engineer on building furniture samples from the vendor. The assembler will be responsible for opening, inspecting, assembling, reporting, clean up.
Role Responsibilities
- Open new furniture samples and report back to Engineering and Sourcing the results.
- Reports on if the sample was easily assembled or if there were any issues and fill in the sample review report.
Role Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to do tasks given to them without supervision.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must understand furniture construction.
- Must understand hand tools (Screwdrivers, hex keys, hammer).
