Role- Financial Data Analyst
Location- Reston-VA (Remote)
No C2C, Only W2
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and SQL to support data preparation, transformation, and analytics.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to understand business requirements, financial processes, and reporting needs.
- Integrate and manage data from ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and other financial applications.
- Develop scalable data models, data mappings, and automation frameworks for financial datasets.
- Optimize existing pipelines and SQL scripts for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) to implement secure, scalable, and high-quality data architectures.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across financial systems and reporting platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data workflows, ETL jobs, and system integrations.
- Document data processes, workflows, and engineering standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).
- Hands-on expertise in Python for scripting, automation, and data engineering tasks.
- Experience designing and developing ETL pipelines, preferably using AWS Glue, PySpark, or SQL-based tools.
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, financial datasets, and reporting structures.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, including data extraction and integration.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and metadata management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
