Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in, appointment scheduling, and answering inquiries with friendly professionalism
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for retail sales, product demos, and service transactions
- Manage phone etiquette by answering calls promptly, scheduling appointments, and providing information about salon services
- Upsell retail products and promote salon packages to enhance client experience and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing product displays, and ensuring the retail area is inviting and well-maintained
- Handle cash handling duties accurately, including processing payments and balancing registers at shift end
- Support the team with basic administrative tasks such as appointment reminders and client record updates
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles; supervising experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store environments is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
