Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (LPN or RN) to support our Nursing Services Department. If you’re a compassionate leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department.
- Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission.
- Review nurses’ notes to ensure proper documentation of treatments, medications, and resident conditions.
- Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care and identify needs.
- Communicate with physicians and visit selected residents regularly.
- Assist the MDS/Care Plan Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising MDS assessments, including implementing RAPs and triggers.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience as an ADON, DON, or similar role in long-term care.
- Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
