TV One is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic intern to join our Graphic Design team. This internship is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in motion design and brand storytelling within the fast-paced world of TV One. Interns will work closely with our Art Director on a wide range of design and marketing projects. Finalists will be contacted for interviews.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in designing graphics for broadcast television and digital platforms
- Assist in animating motion graphic elements for TV, social content, and website needs
- Engage in creative brainstorming sessions
- Assist in design planning for various projects including marketing campaigns, promotional assets, and presentations
- Collaborate with the Art Director and marketing team to revise and refine creative assets
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns
- Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Basic understanding of animation principles
- Basic understanding of design principles and typography
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain brand consistency
- Strong attention to detail, including spelling, grammar, and layout design
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and take feedback
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPEREINCE:
Bachelor’s degree or pursing a bachelor’s degree in media, fie arts, graphic design, or related field.
