Job Type: Part-Time - Full-time | Location: Grand Rapids, MI
We are seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Medical Assistant to support our injectors in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is central to increasing patient visits, keeping treatment flow moving, supporting wellness consultations, and reinforcing retention and rebooking at every touchpoint while blending clinical support, patient experience, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced, luxury medical spa environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Perform patient intake, review medical histories, document treatments accurately, and assist with before-and-after photography as appropriate.
Patient Experience
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment instructions, skincare recommendations, and follow-up care.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming, luxury experience for every patient.
Scheduling & Front Desk
- Coordinate scheduling, treatment planning, follow-up appointments, and patient communication to ensure an exceptional experience from consultation through treatment.
- Provide front-desk support as needed, including answering phones, checking patients in and out, and scheduling appointments.
Sales & Marketing
- Recommend and educate patients on retail skincare and wellness products, supporting sales and treatment package goals.
- Assist with social media content creation and client-facing marketing materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
- Knowledge and ability to collaborate on and create social media content.
- Interest or experience in retail product sales, care coordination, and client education.
Compensation: $18–$23/hour, based on experience
