Full-Time Position: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Processes
- Ensure all sales orders are being picked, packed and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Must have the physical ability to lift and move packages weighing 50lbs or more as part of the daily warehouse operations
- Proficiently work within our inventory management software to process, update and complete sales orders.
- Check in, count, organize and stock inbound Air/Sea Freight inventory shipments.
- Receive in and report customer returns as they arrive at the warehouse, checking in the parts, completing a return checklist, reporting return condition to the Administrator, and shelving the parts in the correct bin location.
- Report to Operations Manager to ensure alignment on all warehouse priorities to ensure smooth order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, inventory organization and quick problem solving.
- Maintain daily communication with the Office Administrator to coordinate order fulfillment, returns, inventory counts, and stock reconciliations, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy across the business.
- Provide a monthly reorder report for consumables to prevent material shortages of boxes, pallets, tape, edge protectors, etc.
Inventory Management
- Ensure the inventory is organized, labeled with bin locations, and see that our count is always accurate.
- Complete routine stock takes to confirm our physical inventory matches what inventory system shows as available.
Inbound/Outbound Shipments
- When freight arrives via air or sea, unload these shipments and confirm the correct parts and quantities have arrived before booking into our inventory system.
- Follow our process for checking in freight and send report to the Operations Manager quickly so purchase orders can be entered into the inventory system.
- Supervise outbound shipments to ensure they are prioritized and executed accurately and efficiently.
- Check frequently throughout the day for new orders that are ready to print, pack, and dispatch.
Workflow Processes
- Create new warehouse processes that will improve daily workflow, increase warehouse product organization, reduce outbound shipping costs and facilitate future increases in sales volume.
- Improve current warehouse processes to allow professional communication and operational visibility with the administrative and sales team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years warehouse experience is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and e-commerce logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a competent understanding of shipping software
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is highly desirable; posses a Fork lift certification or the ability to acquire one within the first week of employment
Pay: $25.00 per hour
