Title: IT Coordinator
- Status: Full-time, nonexempt, in-person
- Hourly rate: $25 - $28 (based on qualifications and experience)
- Schedules: Flexible (must be on-site)
- Location: Downtown, San Diego
Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure: Setting up and maintaining a working internet connection and firewall for three locations, including separate log ins for clients and staff. Monitoring firewall and any illegal downloading activity from clients. Ensuring interruption free internet connections for all staff. Interface with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Policies and Compliance: Establishing protocols and ensuring compliance with cyber security company (insurance requirements) and any other requirements/regulations stipulated by funding agencies.
- Tech Equipment: Inventory, set up and management of all IT assets.
- Device Management Systems: Enrolling and streamlining all employee devices into MDM system (Scale Fusion). Managing G Suite account.
- Tech Maintenance & Systems: Support and troubleshoot facility software and hardware. Perform testing and evaluation on new software and hardware products. Create ticketing system for IT needs and document work done and time spent within ticketing system. Develop and maintain thorough standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation. Assist in maintaining the organizations website.
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. plus two years experience working in the IT field; OR
- (Preferred) Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science; equivalent experience acceptable
- CompTIA A , Network , Security , or similar certifications advantageous;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and frequently lift or maneuver equipment up to 80 pounds
- Proficiencies with any of the following: GSuite, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, Aeries, Cisco networking products
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations;
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
- Must submit to a background check via Live Scan (with ongoing alerts), and TB test, as required by specific programs, funding requirements and licensing regulations
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between Urban Street Angels locations, if necessary
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in varied indoor/outdoor settings
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
- Must submit to a background check via Live Scan (with ongoing alerts), as required by specific programs, funding requirements and licensing regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and complete I9 verification
