What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Urban Sophistication?
Urban Sophistication is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help bring our product launches to life across creator marketing, email & SMS, and day-to-day marketing operations.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you'll build relationships with creators, manage gifting from start to finish, own our email and SMS calendar, and help keep every launch organized, on schedule, and continuously improving.
What You'll Own
Creator Marketing
- Source creators for gifting and paid partnerships
- Build and maintain long-term creator relationships
- Coordinate gifting logistics from outreach through delivery
- Track creator campaigns and maintain reporting
- Help grow and organize our creator community
Email & SMS Marketing
- Build, schedule, and QA email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo
- Maintain campaign calendars and audience segmentation
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
- Support lifecycle marketing initiatives that increase retention and repeat purchases
Marketing Operations
- Coordinate product launches across creators, CRM, paid media, PR, ecommerce, and creative
- Keep marketing calendars, timelines, and launch checklists organized
- Ensure marketing assets are delivered on time across all channels
- Support reporting, campaign recaps, and ongoing marketing projects
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing, founders, creative, ecommerce, product, and regional teams
- Coordinate with external agencies, creators, and partners
- Help build the systems and processes that allow the marketing team to scale
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will:
- Own the creator gifting program from end to end
- Become the primary owner of the email & SMS calendar
- Help execute every major product launch on time
- Build trusted relationships with creators and partners
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, ecommerce, creator marketing, CRM, or a related field
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Experience at premium consumer, fashion, beauty, accessories, or lifestyle brands is strongly preferred
