Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Youth Soccer Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for soccer and youth. This role involves teaching and coaching students in a supportive environment, fostering their love for the game. Trainers will be responsible for organizing scrimmages, tracing Keiki classes, teaching basic soccer skills, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
Responsibilities
- Implement coaching plans and be an encouraging role model for the kids.
- Provide instruction and coaching to students of all skill levels, ensuring a positive learning experience.
- Split up teams for pickup games
- Monitor scoreboard and ref games for different events such as leagues and team bonding events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a soccer coach is preferred but not mandatory.
- Background in playing soccer is preferred.
- Experience working with kids between the ages of 6-13 years old.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Ability to understand the basic rules of soccer in case a ref is needed.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting.
- A genuine passion for developing skills in a strictly positive way.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Internship
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
