What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic/Material Handler position at Urban Mining CT LLC?
Plant Maintenance Mechanic will maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment to include:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, & repair of equipment
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist with continuous improvement and special equipment projects
- Demonstrate methodical approach to troubleshooting and good analytical skills
- Ability to work within a maintenance team, learn/train others to gain proficiency
- Follow company and OSHA safety policies & procedures
- The ability to read blueprints and basic schematics.
- Welding
- Rigging
- Operate rolling stock (manlifts, forklifts, loaders, etc)
- Microsoft Excel
- Tracking of inventory, maintenance logs, pod's, etc
Seeking Millwright with a minimum of 10 years experience. The applicant should have working knowledge of conveyors, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems of manufacturing equipment. This position will pose opportunities to work on new equipment in the growing sustainable field.
Salary dependent on experience.
