We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team to provide emotional and therapeutic support to clients in either individual or group settings .
Position Overview:
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide individual and group counseling services to clients facing a range of mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans and support clients in their journey toward improved mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations in line with the APA /DSM 5 TR to understand clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and attend professional development opportunities.
• Provide support to counseling interns and young professional working towards valid/state licensure.
• Facilitate supportive referral to clients/individuals, and collaborate with other service organization in the community for the benefit of the client/population we serve.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

- Valid state licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) [non licensed or license eligible professionals, apply for our mental counselor - LP/social worker position to benefit from appropriate support/career development].

• Experience in individual and group counseling preferred.
• Understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and culturally competent approach to counseling.
