Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of Matcha drinks and desserts, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties:
- Prepare and serve Matcha and other beverages and food items to customers in a fast-paced environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, floor, and equipment.
- Operate POS system and cash register, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies
- Work effectively with a team to provide excellent customer service
- Help with the opening and closing of the store, including setting up, taking down equipment, and cleaning.
- Provide food and beverage recommendations to customers.
- Maintain knowledge of coffee and tea offerings and be able to answer customer questions.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with sales and promotions as needed.
- Help with other duties as assigned by management .
Qualifications:
- Experience with food service and cash handling.
- Knowledge of coffee and tea offerings.
- Proficiency with POS system.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Food handling experience is required.
- Experience with retail math and sales.
- Ability to assist with sales and promotions.
- Willingness to help with other duties as assigned by management.
Pay: $16.90 - $23.90 per hour
