The Opportunity
We are seeking strategic, equity-minded education professionals to serve as Talent & Workforce Development Partners. In this role, you’ll support ULC’s Retention Engine and Pipeline Diversifier initiatives by designing and leading coaching, mentorship, and programs that develop strong, diverse, and resilient educators.
You’ll partner directly with schools, workforce boards, and community organizations to:
- Strengthen teacher retention
- Build grow-your-own pipelines
- Equip emerging educators with 21st-century skills
- Create meaningful career pathways for underrepresented populations
Key Responsibilities
Program Design & Delivery
- Lead and facilitate training, mentorship, and professional learning experiences for educators and workforce participants.
- Support implementation of ULC’s Retention Engine and Grow Your Own workforce initiatives.
- Design development plans aligned with participant goals and district workforce needs.
Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with school districts, community agencies, and workforce partners to co-design responsive programs.
- Represent ULC at meetings and regional workforce tables.
Coaching & Talent Development
- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to participants on skill development and career progression.
- Model effective leadership, communication, and reflective practice.
Data & Continuous Improvement
- Use workforce and retention data to measure progress, identify barriers, and inform continuous improvement.
- Contribute to reports and dashboards showing program impact.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Education, Workforce Development, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching, training, coaching, or workforce leadership
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and educator support
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Leadership, or Workforce Development
- Familiarity with DPI teacher licensure or workforce funding streams (Title II, ESSER, WIOA, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience managing partnerships with schools, colleges, or workforce boards
