JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Data Analyst
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY: Managing Director - Resources Management and Compliance
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: The Data Analyst played a key irreplaceable role in the transformation of our company from a traditional small business to a data-driven decision and evaluation organization. The roles of Data Analyst primarily serve as a source of data to assist the director in the setting up of Internal Control Systems, Forecasting Models and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in various departments as well as the establishment of an ERP System.
EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt
At Urban Leaf, we specialize in processing of fresh produce in large quantities and selling it to manufactures, caterers, and distributors. This position is ideal for graduates who wants to gain valuable hands-on experience learning the fundamental skills in collecting and organizing data, rectifying data, trends and patterns, visualizing findings and analyzing data, trends for data driven decision in real business world. On Job training is provided and fresh graduate from College (Dec 2021) is welcome.
- Define and identify the data that are the key indicators for monitoring/ evaluation and; apply the corresponding mathematical model(s) in different Control systems
- Collect and Organize - Extracting, formatting and cleaning data for weekly/monthly analysis
- Rectifying data, trends and patterns output
- Visualize - Present findings to various departments in weekly meeting for continuous improvements
- Analyze - Provide the data, trends and data-driven recommendations for senior management meeting to make valid decisions on operation decisions, investment decision and performance evaluation.
- For the Analytic who specified in ERP system, programming language experience is highly preferred.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Fresh graduate major in Maths, Statistics, Accounting and Economics is preferred but not a must)
REQUIRED BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in either English
- Ability and interest in increasing knowledge in Data field
- Medium or High level of Excel Skills is preferred
PHYSICAL & LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to reach, bend and walk.
- Ability to comprehend complex materials.
- Ability to speak and write English clearly and accurately.
- Cantonese speaking is a plus.
