Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative Screen Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in screen printing and a passion for visual design. The Screen Printing Operator will work closely with the design team to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Duties
- Operate screen printing machines to produce high-quality prints on various materials.
- Collaborate with the design team to interpret digital designs and translate them into screen printing formats.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality control and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Apply knowledge of color theory, typography, and layout design to achieve desired print outcomes.
- Assist in the preparation of screens, inks, and substrates for production runs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques related to screen printing and graphic design.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) is essential.
- Strong skills in digital design, graphic design, and visual design.
- Familiarity with color theory, typography, layout design, and print advertising.
- Experience with motion graphics, 2D/3D animation (Maya), CAD software, and Sketch is a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS for web design applications is beneficial.
- Previous experience in screen printing or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
