We are currently hiring HCSR-II (Health Care Service Representative) which are Medical Assistants who possess their National CCMA and/or National Phlebotomy Technician credentials for our School Based Health Care Centers in the Bronx. We are presently hiring for 2 of our locations, one is a middle school, and one is a high school.

Minimum Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant AND National Certification as Phlebotomy Technician required OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), required.
- Candidates with previous experience in a health care or school based setting strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents, a strong plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of taking vital signs, phlebotomy, and medical administration tasks.
- Process blood draws. Collects specimens for laboratory testing.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
- Participates in health and wellness activities and health education when required.
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, and medical history and accurately records in medical records.
- Completes referrals and discharges patients.
- Assists providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
- Assist provider during visit with treatments, examinations, and procedures.
- Schedules appointments, verifies insurance and demographic information.
- Processes diagnostic orders.
