Job Description

Recruitment for this position will culminate to interviews in December 2025 and if selected, start date will be in the beginning of January 2026.

Position Summary

We are currently hiring a full time bilingual English/Spanish Nationally Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to work in our Bronx-based family medicine practice.

Key Duties

  • Process blood draws, collects specimens and processes lab orders.
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
  • Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
  • Completes referrals and discharges patients.
  • Assists providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
  • Assist provider with treatments
  • Schedules for appointments, verify insurance and demographic information.

Starting Compensation: Minimum: $23.00/hour ; Maximum: $23.00/hour $1500 differential pay-paid yearly.

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

Onsite in the Bronx, 40 hour shift Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support our patients.

Salary : $23 - $1,500
