What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Urban Equity Properties?
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for three sister properties located in Elgin and Aurora, IL areas. If you are an experienced technician with a desire for a career with a growing company, we’d like to hear from you.
Urban Equity Properties is a full service, real estate investment advisory firm. UEP acquires and manages apartment and commercial properties throughout IL on behalf of our owner.
The ideal candidate must be able to take the responsibilities for the following:
· Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders.
· Rectify all maintenance problems during the workday.
· Responsible for general clean-up of the community.
· Be available for after hour's emergency calls on a rotational basis.
· Will perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in most areas of maintenance and repairs.
- Must have a good history of job dependability and performance.
- Must have experience in the use of maintenance equipment and tools.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- HVAC Type II Certification (Preferred)
