Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about merchandise.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle credit, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper handling procedures.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance store presentation.
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and replenishing products throughout the shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person, fostering a positive shopping experience.
• Support sales initiatives through suggestive selling and promoting ongoing promotions or new products.
• Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions .
• Participate in product demonstrations for customers, highlighting key features to boost sales.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments is advantageous.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the store, and lift moderate loads as needed.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory counts.
• Excellent phone etiquette for responding professionally to customer inquiries over the phone.
