Associate Property Manager
Urban Coast Properties has an immediate opening for an Assistant Property Manager role. This role requires assisting our Property Manager in managing about 400 units consisting across multiple properties. Completing daily tasks including managing tenant relations, owner relations, and taking on new projects. Candidates must be customer service oriented, have a can do attitude, and be able to communicate effectively with clients. Excellent writting/email skills are a must. Some aspects of the job include:
- Provide daily assistance and support to the Property Managers in management of portfolio
- Property Management and Tenant relations
- Assist with monthly accounting duties, reporting and budgeting
- Property scheduling and communication with tenants and vendors
- Conduct routine property inspections to prevent/identify problems and exposures.
- Receive work order requests and coordinate with the building technician or vendor as appropriate.
- Schedule building activity including move-ins/move-outs, and verify insurance.
- Being proactive in assisting other property managers
Qualifications:
- Able to work independently
- Task oriented
- Be a ‘face’ of Urban Coast Properties and handling situations with care
- Previous experience in property management required, 1-2 years preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office, word, excel, and outlook
- Experience with Appfolio is a plus
