General laborer - Living Walls, Planters, general handy work.
Urban Blooms is Growing! We are looking for a new team member to assist with constructing our living walls and other projects! You will be assisting with our Custom Living Wall Installations, planter installations, and other projects.
We Design, Install, and Maintain the highest quality Custom Living Walls for a wide variety of clients across the Midwest. We are looking to add a new Construction worker to our team. If you have experience in construction or carpentry and are excited to work on One-of-a-Kind, Custom Living Walls, please apply!
You will also be working with our sister company Plant Trolley on commercial planter installations and Christmas decor installations.
Responsibilities will include
- Assisting on Living Wall construction projects
- Organizing supplies and tools in warehouse
- Office improvement projects
- Warehouse improvement projects
- Garden improvement projects
- Special Construction projects (temporary displays)
- Living Wall site cleaning and some maintenance
- Transporting walls and setting up for events
- Planter installations and planter cleaning
- Painting and transportation of planters
Individual must be/have
- Timely and responsible
- Able to travel for installations in other cities
- Comfortable working from heights and in sun
- Experienced working with powertools
- Experience with plumbing systems
- Self-starting attitude
- A careful eye for detail
- Fearless attitude – willing to take intelligent risks
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude that sets the tone for the team and keeps morale high
Full Time
$18-22 Per Hour
