What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter position at Urban Associates, LLC?
Reporting to the Building Superintendent, a Porter is responsible for all cleaning, recycling and refuse collection throughout the entire building and grounds. A qualified candidate must show initiative and good judgement in performing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. The position duties include, but are not limited to, collection and removal of building trash and recycling, operation of the building compactor, general cleaning in all building common areas and outdoor spaces, snow removal, vacant apartment preparation and any other duties assigned by the Superintendent or Property Manager.
Applicant must meet or exceed the following minimum qualifications to be considered:
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Must have good verbal and interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Applicants selected for this position are required to undergo a background check and a drug screen.
$20.34 - $27.12 per hour, subject to CBA.
