Advanced Practice Provider
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: In collaboration with the Supervising Physician, assist qualified licensed physicians in the diagnostic management and treatment of patients in the Gastroenterology Practice.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an approved Advanced Practice Provider program. Must be licensed and registered to practice in New York State and Board Certification required. Must possess and maintain current CPR and APP certification required. ACLS preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience functioning as a Advance Practice Provider in gastroenterology or related healthcare experience preferred. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills required as demonstrated by:
* ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
* strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by customer-focused attitude and the ability to maintain effective working relationships and communication with all levels of hospital staff
* ability to use sound judgement and discretion to deal professionally with sensitive patient care and interpersonal issues
