What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Care Associate position at UR Medicine Thompson Health?
What will you do?
- As a member of the Diet Office team, you will work with other team members with direct patient interaction in menu selections and assist in updating patient profile information in our departmental software system.
- We take pride in serving a high-quality-hot meal three times a day, choosing from a menu that is custom-made to the diet prescribed.
- Be part of a department where your input matters, from choosing new items from a tri-fold menu, operating in the Department’s Diet Office, and including innovation in the ever-changing health care environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Completing highly detailed, confidential, clerical diet office duties
- Serve meals to patients in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to write neatly and follow directions
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently or as a team player
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
Pay Range: $17.05 - $20.00
Starting Pay: Based on Experience
