Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Assist with specialized procedures such as mammography, spinal taps, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Provide care for patients with special needs, including those requiring neonatal ventilators or alimentation.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Utilize medical equipment such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and lifts to assist with patient mobility.
Experience:
- Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [location].
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with specialized procedures such as mammography or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
