This is an entry-level position where you will assist in hands-on construction tasks including piping fabrication, welding, and equipment installation in support of our uranium mining operations. **What you'll do**
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role. You will regularly walk, stand, climb, and lift --- up to 100 lbs occasionally. Work is performed in a shop and outdoor industrial setting with exposure to mechanical equipment, weather conditions, chemicals, welding fumes, and moderate to loud noise. Ladder work up to 10--12 feet is required at times. All applicable PPE will be provided and must be worn.

**What you'll do**
- Construct header houses and distribution piping
- Install metering equipment and cabling
- Fabricate sub-assemblies and assemblies
- Build piping headers, fuse Polypipe, glue PVC piping, and connect metal piping components
- Perform basic welding, cutting, and metal fabrication tasks in support of construction and assembly projects
- Operate welding equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Assist with tracking construction material inventory and notify supervisor of additional needs
- Coordinate work with crew members to ensure safe and efficient progress
- Periodic on-site work at Lost Creek or Shirley Basin may be required
- High school diploma or GED; or 1--3 months of related experience --- or an equivalent combination
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Basic math skills and ability to follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Clear oral and written communication skills; ability to document daily activities in logbooks
- Basic computer or tablet proficiency
- Prior experience with basic welding and metal fabrication is a plus
