Our client, a major hedge fund managing tens of billions in AUM, seeks a mid-career Healthcare Analyst for its fundamental equities division.
Your focus will be US non-therapeutics, broadly defined across life sciences tools & diagnostics, MedTech and healthcare services.
The fundamental equities division invests Single Manager L/S style, and this is a unique opportunity to do long duration, high conviction, deep-dive investment with an experienced team of Tier 1 pedigree.
About you
- Proven specialism in Healthcare Equities (esp. Non Therapeutics), ideally in a buyside setting (L/S, LO and PE backgrounds will be considered).
- Sellside Equity Research candidates will be considered if they have covered the space in depth for at least 4 years on a high-performing team.
- Strong critical thinking and deep analytical skills are vital, as well as a capacity to independently generate investment ideas.
- Polished communication skills also vital for working collaboratively with teams across multiple sector specialisms.
Package
- Compensation is primarily loaded on to the annual performance-related component.
- Base salary ranging from 180,000 to 260,000 USD dependent on experience.
