Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Junior Settlement Agent / Escrow Officer to join a high-performing Escrow team for a quickly growing Title Insurance firm. This role is a key support position for the Escrow team and is designed for a candidate who wants to grow, take ownership, and deliver next-level service while contributing to a thriving culture.
The ideal candidate understands the full scope of the title and escrow process and can confidently perform each function with accuracy and professionalism. This is a customer-facing role that requires exceptional relationship skills, strong judgment, and the ability to perform at a high level under pressure.
This position is intentionally structured to develop future Escrow Officers. A successful candidate will be given the opportunity to advance, build their own book of business, and grow their career with a proven pathway to the next level.
Key Responsibilities· Support the Escrow Officer across the entire escrow lifecycle, from opening through closing
· Perform escrow and settlement functions with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail
· Serve as an extension of the Escrow Officer, ensuring seamless communication and execution
· Act as a primary point of contact for clients, agents, lenders, and internal partners. Conduct closings.
· Coordinate documentation, timelines, and compliance requirements
· Proactively manage files to ensure deadlines are met and issues are resolved early
· Take stewardship over transactions to deliver a superior client experience
· Uphold team standards, culture, and service expectations at the highest level
· Minimum 3 years of title and escrow experience
· Active Escrow License, or a willingness to become licensed (required)
· Demonstrated understanding of the full escrow and settlement process
· Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
· Exceptional time management and organizational ability
· Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
