Full-Time Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist - Make a Difference!
Upward Smiles® is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our compassionate team. We are the largest private non-profit dental provider for underprivileged children in the Greater St. Louis Area.
This role is perfect for a positive, team-oriented professional inspired by providing top-quality, compassionate care to children in need—without the "sell" aspect of modern dental offices.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the assigned front desk workstation, including patient scheduling and check-in/out, communicating professionally with all patrons of the Practice
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Answer phones, make calls
- Process and input documents and patient data
- Sort and process mail and deliveries, including delivering to offices on-site
- Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive experience for every child/patient
- Strict adherence to office protocol and policies
- Maintain communication with supervisor regarding daily operations
- Miscellaneous office tasks
Full-Time Employee Benefits & Time Off

- Vacation Time: five (5) days, or 40 hours, annually after completing one (1) year of continuous full-time employment.
- ADDITIONAL Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual begins after 60 days of employment, earning up to 2 hours per payroll period when full-time criteria are met.
