We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hood Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, filters, ducts, and related ventilation components according to safety standards and regulations
- Inspect and assess the condition of equipment, identifying areas requiring repair or maintenance
- Use specialized tools and cleaning agents to remove grease buildup and debris from hard-to-reach areas
- Follow schematics and technical diagrams to ensure proper disassembly and reassembly of ventilation components
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and repairs for compliance purposes
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate service appointments and report on job progress
- Assist with minor appliance repair or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary to support overall system functionality
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment maintenance
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) diagrams
- Service technician experience preferred, especially in HVAC or refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of construction practices related to ductwork installation and maintenance
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, and refrigeration components
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead a small team effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety protocols and quality standards
