We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Student Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our student housing portfolio and lead a team of technicians to industry-leading standards.

🔧 What You’ll Do
Physical Asset Quality Ownership
Maintain full responsibility for the physical condition and upkeep of all student portfolio assets
Ensure buildings, systems, and grounds meet ownership expectations
Identify improvements to enhance curb appeal, functionality, and resident satisfaction
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Student Maintenance Technicians
Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
Track labor hours, approve time-off requests, and manage purchases within guidelines
Ensure adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and maintenance policies
Provide ongoing coaching and corrective action when necessary
Operational Coordination
Manage scheduling of service requests and preferred vendors
Oversee maintenance processes including training systems, inventory control, and fleet management
Monitor and review work order progress, escalating when necessary
Communicate expectations and reinforce quality standards with internal teams and vendors
Maintain accurate work order and property data within Rent Manager
Additional Duties
Support unplanned tasks, interruptions, and special projects
Assist with unit turns in collaboration with the Director of Facilities & Operations
Conduct property visits to assess housekeeping, building systems, and grounds
Approve vendor invoices and expenditures outside of defined thresholds
Act as a technical resource for maintenance staff and property managers

Proven experience in maintenance leadership or supervisory roles
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and vendor management

Ability to lift moderate weight, navigate properties, and respond to physical demands of the role
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
