đź’Ľ About the Role
The Property Management Training & Development Specialist serves as a key resource for system training, process understanding, and ongoing skills development within the Property Management (PM) department. This position ensures team members have the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to perform their roles effectively while maintaining Uptown’s standards of accuracy and service.
📝 What You’ll Do
Training Material Creation & Revision (Primary Focus – 40%)
• Create, update, and maintain user-friendly training materials, guides, and resources for Rent Manager and related systems
• Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with current policies and system updates
Training Execution (30%)
• Deliver new hire training and ongoing training for existing PM employees
• Assess comprehension and identify areas requiring additional learning or support
• Adapt training methods to different learning styles and skill levels
Special Project Involvement (10%)
• Complete special projects assigned by the Property Management team, including Turn preparation and system rollout enhancements
Ancillary Duties (20%)
• Time reserved for unplanned tasks, interruptions, and departmental needs
Operational Responsibilities
• Serve as the PM liaison for Rent Manager updates, enhancements, and integrations
• Coordinate with HR to ensure onboarding aligns with Uptown’s purpose and mission
• Collaborate with Regional Property Managers to align training with operational goals
• Evaluate training methods to improve learning effectiveness
• Contact Rent Manager support and escalate unresolved system issues when needed
✅ What You’ll Need
• 3–5 years of experience working within the Rent Manager platform
• 1–2 years of experience using Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning content tools
• Strong knowledge of the property management industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles
• Experience designing and delivering training programs
• Strong project management ability and experience working in team environments
• Excellent presentation skills and customer service orientation
